Okay. So I would've had this finished this morning if it wasn't for blogger taking on a mind of it's own. I had finally finished my post, and blogger was having a problem with me posting my post. Well, I've got one thing to say. Thanks alot blogger, now no one will ever see the wonderful and heartfelt post I wrote. LOL! Just kidding. I pretty much just told everyone to drink their nice warm coffee cause I didn't have any yet and I hoped y'all were enjoying it.

Anyways, I'd like to welcome the new feature of the week! Big round of applause for Debscrafts55!

I asked Debscrafts55 to tell me a little more about herself so we could all get to know her on a more personal level. I'm going to call this segment "The Artist Behind The Art" from now on.

"I love to crochet and create new patterns. I don't sell my creations, I give it all away to various charities (and sometimes family and friends). I also give away my patterns free on my blog debscrafts55.blogspot.com/. I am constantly scouring thrift shops, auctions and yard sales for yarn and other supplies for my charity crafting and often find craft related things that I'll probably never use but can't resist buying. Last summer, because of several factors coming together, I needed to reduce my stash and make some extra money so I opened my Etsy shop. I haven't even gotten through what I already had and I'm still buying more. I never know what I might find so you'll never know what I might list next in my Etsy shop."

Debscrafts55 has been around on Etsy since July of 2010. Within that time she's had 272 sales and 100% feedback! WOW!!! Way to go Debscrafts55! She also at this very minute has 371 items for sale in her shop! Even featuring her for a week, there is no possible way I could come close to posting all the beautiful items in her shop. My Pick of the Day

And I picked....

I picked this really awesome "Neon Splash Fireworks Print". It measures out to be 3 1/4 yards long, 44/45 inches wide, and is 100% cotton.

This fabric is only $12. YES! I said that 3 1/4 YARDS of fabric is ONLY $12!!! I can't even get fabric that cheap at Joann Fabrics unless it's ugly! And this is FAR from ugly.

Day 5 of Feature: The Best for Last

Yes, it's true, I'm saving what I thought was the best for last. I've been wanting to post this pic all week from Ladysilverwings shop. I would've posted this yesterday, but if you read the post from yesterday, you know the story and I don't have to re-hash it.

So let's get down to business, shall we?

This is a Leather Knotwork Bangle... AND I LOVE IT!!!!

Like I said earlier, I've been wanting to post this all week! It just looks so amazing! It's classy, and yet so simple to go with anything you're wearing! I could imagine myself wearing this in my little black dress (that just about every woman I know has their favorite little black dress) and going out with the hubster for Valentines Day.

Yeah, some of you don't do Valentines Day. Well, I take it as an opportunity. When you have kids you don't have much time for adult convo's. So I take times like this to have a date night and time to be with the love of my life. No, he might not be my "better half" ('cause I'm his), but he is a bit of a romantic and extremely sweet. So why not doll yourself up, seize the moment, and go out to enjoy the night with your loved one? Even if it is a made up holiday for the card companies.

I think we should all be thanking them for making an opportunity for us to show how much we love our significant other.

Okay, getting off track here. You all know what I'm trying to say, and I think most of you got the point. So, as I was saying. I want to wear this to give a splash of color to my outfit. Why not make yourself look extra good lookin' and make them turn their head, make them look again, and say "Wow. You look amazing." Accessories to WONDERS!

And this lovely little accessory can go with your little black dress, or anything you choose, for only $23! You can't tell me that's gonna break the bank. It's $23. It's better than spending a fortune at the jewelry store in the mall for your accessories. Geez, anyone see those prices lately?

Well, my lovely readers (except you fellas reading, you don't have to be lovely unless you want to be), it is time for me to go get ready for a ton of little girls to storm into our home, eat a ton of pizza, ice cream, and cake. In case you're wondering, I'm talking about a birthday party. Yay.

Just kidding, I'm really excited, my middle little girl is turning 4. She's not technically four until Monday, but you really can't have a party on a weeknight, so yeah...

I need to go fill myself with some caffeine and tylenol. There's still traces of a headache, and I have a feeling it'll be MUCH worse if I don't go take some now.

Sorry about this everyone. I've had a killer headache today that just knocked me out. I am actually awake for a few minutes and not knocked out by my medicine just yet, so I wanted to let everyone know what was up. I will be doing the final feature of Ladysilverwings shop tomorrow because it is unfair to her shop not to finish her feature, headache or not.

Day 4 of Feature: Pretty in Pink

Okay, first off I would like to apologize for not having a post up at the crack of dawn. I know, so many of you were eagerly awaiting my post this morning that your day could just not go on without reading my post even before your first cup of coffee. If you don't drink coffee, that's cool.

Anyways, I didn't get a chance to write since my two younger kids decided they were going to come running out of their room with nothing on but pullups as soon as I walked back in from putting my oldest daughter on the bus. I swear, it's like clockwork. They know I need/want to get something done, and it's like they ate a ten pound bag of sugar. After this morning, I wish I had.

Anyhow, since most of you are still waiting mindlessly at your computer until I post this because your life depends on it, (ha ha, laugh it was a joke) I will make this short and sweet.

Here is my pick of the day:

I picked the "Pink and Black Cross Charm Bracelet" as my pick of the day. Why might you ask? Cause I wanted to! :p Lol, just kidding you guys.

I picked it because I liked the uniqueness. You don't see this everyday. The cross charm is original, and I LOVE the pink and black glass beads! BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!

To you it may be simple, but I think I'd rather pay you to make me something like that. It's too elegant looking to be extremely simple! (by the way, that's a compliment)

DAY 3: The eye of the tiger

Wondering what the title is all about? Well, I'll give you a hint, it has something to do with my pick of the day from Ladysilverwings shop! You'll get to see it shortly, don't worry.

I'm sure everyone is enjoying a lovely freezing cold weather, if not I'm sure it's colder than what it was earlier this week. (It was in the 60's where I am, but the stupid cold front is gonna make it snow.) Do you think that we really need a groundhog to tell us it's gonna snow???? Seriously people! Read the farmers almanac! That thing has been mostly right on! Geez, and who's idea was it to use a groundhog as a weather forcaster? I just hope he/she didn't reproduce, because that is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of.

My daughter asked me about groundhogs day. When I explained that the groundhog "tells us the weather for the next 6 weeks" she just looked at me with this blank expression. Seriously? Meterorologists can't even do that with all the technology they have!

Ok, now that I've had my rant about this crazy tradition, I will show you my pick of the day! YAY! I know, I know, you just can't wait cause your life revolves around this! ;)

My pick of the day is............

*Drumroll*

Yes! The pick of the day is this Tiger Eye Beaded Lanyard. Isn't it gorgeous?! So now do you get the title? HAHAHAHA! I'm so funny. I crack myself up.

Anyways, now that I'm the only person laughing at my jokes, I will explain this lovely lanyard in more detail.

Ladysilverwings lanyards are made from double beading thread, and tons of different beads including glass, stone, shells, and synthetic materials.

DAY 2 OF FEATURE: Ladysilverwings

Alrighty, since I was able to get my lazy butt outta bed this morning and get my daughter on the bus on time for once, I decided to get online. Especially since my 2 younger daughters were still asleep, and still are. You are probably thinking "Why?" Well, I'm thinking the same thing. I should go enjoy being able to hear myself think, enjoying a cup of coffee, and watching the TODAY show knowing I'll be able to hear it and not have to turn on the captions so I know what's going on. But I have a feeling that today is going to be one of those days that if I don't get it done early, it ain't getting done.

So I hope you enjoy todays post Ladysilverwings, I'm giving up a steaming cup of coffee and having peace and quiet just for you. LOL ;)

So, since I've had my time to ramble on about nothing, I think I will tell you what my pick of the day is.

HERE IT IS!

The beautiful cross pictured above is called the "Cross Knot Necklace". It is hand tied and knotted, and uses wooden beads. The picture i chose doesn't show them, but if you go to Ladysilverwings shop (there's a link on the left under "My fave links") there are pictures showing the beads on it.

The necklace is 26.5 inches in total length, and is made from a soft suede like material. It is also adjustable so you can make it your desired length. The only question I have for this one, is how long is the cross itself?

I will contact Ladysilverwings and give you an answer as soon as I know. My answer will be posted below in the comments.

I chose the Cross Knot Necklace with Easter in mind. It's february people! Do you not think that Easter isn't going to sneak up on us? Hello! Before we know it it's gonna be Christmas again! I said it, I know you probably don't like it, but I said it. And you KNOW it's true.

Anyways, before I forget what I'm talking about, I thought that the Cross Knot Necklace would make an awesome Easter gift. Cell phone postcards? What will they come up with next?

I have to admit, I was not really sure how great cell phone postcards would be. I mean, how great can a picture look on a postcard? Little did I know it would look totally awesome!

I took a picture of my three little girls in thier new tinkerbell jammies in front of the christmas tree. I was really happy I hadn't sent out any christmas cards yet (yes, I am a procrastinator). I uploaded the picture I took to my computer and added it to cellphonepostcards.com. After that I added all the family I was going to send postcards too. It was really cool 'cause it's like an address book on thier site, and it's super easy to use, find people you want to send to, add family & friends, etc. So now they even made my life a little easier because I don't have to search my house for my address book!

Next I just typed in my little christmas message from me, hubby, & the kids, and voila! I was done in like ten minutes with my christmas postcards. If I was sending out other cards, it would've taken me forever. I liked this because it was a personalized christmas card that I didn't have to hand over an arm & leg to pay for it. I live two states away from my family, so I knew my mom would be thrilled to get this in the mail. They use the whole postcard and fill it with the picture you use.

I am a bzzagent, what that means is that I get to try out products for free from companies that want my opinion. I got 10 free postcards to send to friends and family. After the 10, they are only 99 cents. Don't worry, you get ten free too to try it out ;) I think that is more than reasonable (unlike the people at the mall who want to take your childs picture with santa and charge 22.99 for a sheet. No joke! We went this past week.)

The only flaw I can see with cellphone postcards is that they need some kind of protector over the picture. Some rain got on our picture(they sent a copy, luckily it was that one) and it messed it up a little in one spot. Not a lot, but what if we had had a thunderstorm? That's the only downfall I see. Other than that, cellphonepostcards.com, you are good in my book!

The Factor Tree

Okay, I know I usually do alot more Etsy stuff on my blog than anything else, but I did want to let everyone know about this amazing site. If you have children who are in preschool all the way to 6th grade, you will love me forever! :) At least I hope so...
I guess I should start at the beginning. Well, I am a bzzagent. What does that mean exactly? Well, it means I signed up to become a bzzagent and get some super cool samples from major companies to see what I think. Low and behold, they want me to tell others about it too! So I'm gonna share this awesome sample with my blogging friends. Being a bzzagent I am completely honest about my thoughts on the product and don't try to "sell" anything (I hate it when others try to do it to me), and tell you about the product without added "hype" so to say.

Well, here is my honest opinion about a site called TheFactorTree. Thus far I have tried it for about two weeks or so (as a bzzagent I got a free membership for a month), and I have loved every minute of it. I have two daughters that are old enough to use this service, one of which is a preschooler and the other is in first grade. This site has helped to see where my preschooler is struggling in math (I guess I forgot to mention it's a math site for preschool children up to 6th grade, huh?). It was extremely easy to sign up for, was easy to use (for me and my children), made math fun for them, and it was so very easy to see the progress and where they were struggling.

TheFactorTree helped me in knowing what I needed to work on with my children a little bit more in, which made my job of guessing the part of math they didn't get a little easier. Hey, and anything that makes my life easier as a parent is well worth my time!

Lazy days are gone...

No, this post is not being about lazy, nor have I been lazy. I really don't know where the title of this post came from, but it must be because I've had WAY too much caffeine and the fact that it is one o'clock in the morning.

Okay, I lied. Right now it is only 12:44. BIG difference there! Lol, anyways, I want to do a special week of posts, yes, starting today, tonight, whatever. So while all the early birds are in bed, night owls here is your chance! I want to do a special posting for Etsy sellers, advertisers, whateverelsers (like my make up name? yeah, I'm really tired) to catch up on all the months I've missed.

Have friends? Good. Have a Facebook page? Great! Have twitter? Even better! You are gonna need 'em. So if your friends owe you one it's time to call in that "ya owe me big time!". Believe me, it is gonna be soooooooo worth it!

What A Week!

Okay, between my garbage disposal, sprinkler head, sink faucet, and cable not working I haven't had much time to blog. To me this is saddening because it's my favorite thing to do!

I'm giving the heads up that I'll be featuring a lovely little shop on Etsy starting Monday, and I hope you all love it as much as I do. I'm not telling who it is, you'll just have to wait till tomorrow. :P

So my blog isn't going pictureless, I'm going to put a few pictures up of a few things I've recently posted on Etsy. I love putting pictures in my blog, it makes it more enjoyable and colorful than just plain text. I would've listed a new seller today, but that would be unfair to previous sellers I've had on my blog since I'd be giving this week's seller an extra day. So here it goes.

The above pictures are some new hair clips I've just listed, and some cute little berries that I thought would be cute in spring and summer projects. They've already been painted light happy color that remind us of warmer days (I can make some that aren't if you would like some like that). The clay and paint are non toxic. I have kids myself, so I always find myself looking for stuff like that.

Bye Bye Blogger?

Well, I guess the poop has hit the fan. As you all may already know, google owns blogger. Google is getting rid of the FTP publishing. NOT GOOD!! FTP publishing is File Transfer Protocol publishing. What this means for us as bloggers that use blogger or blogspot.com is that we won't be able to upload pictures, videos, etc. etc. The list goes on and on.

Posttwo.com has a free script code, but I'm trying to find out where it is and how I can get my hands on it. The script code they have will fix what google is messing up. When I get it I'll post a link for my readers too. Ugh, I'm REALLY getting tired of google.

I think alot of the reason that Google is doing this is becuase of that lawsuit they had recently. I think they got sued by viacom for using copyrighted content from viacom that users were using in their videos on youtube. So now Google is going way over the top while really ticking alot of people (including me) in the process.

I was trying out those ads at the top of my blog, and they're yucky. Sorry bout that, I was just seeing how they looked. Anyways, you won't have to worry 'bout ads for quite awile. I really don't like the flash ones, they're annoying and give me a headache.

Hi everyone! I was browsing around in ThePixelPrince's shop and I found a few REALLY funny posters that are sure to make you laugh too! Check them out below.

This one has an old saying on it with an added twist. It says "Where there's a will there's a way". Only when you look closer the "there's a way" is crossed out so it then reads "Where there's a will there are 500 relatives". I laughed so hard! I hope you get a kick out of it too.

This poster measures 11x14, and it's only $10! This would make a great gift for the funny person in your life. We all have one (mine is my husband).

Amanda Fouts V.A. from CouponChief.com has contacted me recently to post an article about thier site. I am getting paid for this post, but I'm still remaining completely honest as to what I think of thier site.

CouponChief.com has a TON of coupons that range from wholesale and toys, to home decor and accesories. If you can find a site to shop at online, they probably have a coupon for it!

They also have a great incentive program for members called "Pays-2-Share". All you do is sign up for the pays-2-share program, upload coupons, and when someone uses the coupon you upload you get 2% of the sales! In case you're wondering, they do pay by paypal and by check. I'm not sure about other means of payment, but they do say they pay by paypal and check.

Another feature I like, and I'm sure you will too, is if you have an online store you can post it on couponchief.com for free! I found this on their hompage on the right towards the bottom. Since I have quite a few followers that have an Etsy shop, I thought you might like this. :)

The only thing that concerns me is that this site does not have an SSL certificate. An SSL certificate places security on the site and helps to keep information safe. When I asked Amanda about this she ensured that their members information is safe and no one needs to enter any insecure information if they so choose.

Since you won't really be shopping on thier site I think you'll be okay. You just get the code and go shopping. But I would safeguard information such as phone numbers, etc. just to be safe. You don't have to be a member to use the coupons listed.

I do want to mention that they have quite a few REALLY good coupons that expire very soon. If you like Vera Bradley you may want to hurry to get this coupon code. They have 17% off on any 1 item!

They also have an amazing Clinique coupon. It's free shipping for any order over $40. I use clinique and know how easily you can get up to a $40 purchase. I love Clinique because their makeup lasts forever and doesn't make my skin break out.

Here's the link to CouponChief.com. At least take a look around to see what you can find. They have some amazing deals! If you have an online store, this would be a great way to get some exposure to your site.

I'm sure by now that you all have noticed the quick rewards button at the top of my page. My fellow Etsians know how hard it is to keep your Etsy shop if you aren't making any sales (lately). I use many different programs to help my Etsy addiction. I mostly use Quick Rewards since they pay by paypal and have no minimum cashout. I earn close to $2 daily, sometimes more by just clicking links, trivia, signups, surveys, etc. I mostly do clicks, trivia, and signups. If I'm in the mood I'll do a survey or two, but the signups pay better. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Check out the site and see if it's for you and if you like it.

I am up SUPER early today, maybe I drank a little bit too much mountain dew... Oh well, I'm getting a head start on today and am soon off to do some pilates. But before I run off, I want to show you these cute items I found in Fanzythat's shop.

I found this adorable little dinosaur. Fanzy also has a pink one, and a really cute one with something that looks like tiny feathers. They're just so adorable! I know my daughters would love them, they LOVE any and everything dinosaur. You can make this one yours for $14. I came across this shop while in a newbie chat on Etsy. It is AMAZING!!

Fanzythat has been a member on Etsy for almost a year now! Fanzythat joined Etsy on May29, 2009, has had 3 sales, and all with 100% feedback! Way to go!!!!

Fanzy has some very unique and amazing items, I urge everyone to drop in and take a peek ;)

Here are only some of the things I found in Fanzythats shop~~

I found this adorable little mouse while looking around. This little mouse ( named Flower) is hand crocheted in a smoke free environment, is child safe, and all features are hand embroidered. You can make Flower yours for $6. Soooooo cute!

Next I chose these beautiful imperial earrings. They are $20 and worth every penny! You can tell just by the photograph alone that ALOT of hard work and love went into these earrings. Absolutely gorgeous! Great picture Fanzy!

I'm sorry this past week for not having a featured shop on my blog, I am having a few family issues. Nothing with my children or husband, but some distant family members that are very close to me are going through some rough times. Please keep me and my family in your prayers.

I'm very sorry to see such a wonderful shop leave as a featured seller. It's been a very short week that has flown by. If you haven't visited KiraAnnDesigns shop you have to do it soon! This is her last day as the featured seller, but I will leave her link up for the next week.

I have fallen for her creative cards. These are 8 beautiful note cards that are just gorgeous. They're so bright and colorful, they have me anticipating spring! Ok, I'm trying not to post too many butterfly pics. I've been posting them alot lately, so I promise I'll cut back on them (at least a little).

I saw these paper buttons and thought 'Wow! How cool are those!' And when I think that, I just HAVE to share my finds with my followers. The paper buttons below include 10 blue buttons and 10 cream buttons. You get all 20 for $1.50. These would be great to make cards with, or to scrapbook, just all kinds of creative things!

I couldn't take my eyes off of these adorable mini note cards. They are just too cute! You can get this set of 8, including the envelopes, for $6. Alot of my followers sell on Etsy. This would be great to buy so you could stick a quick little 'Thank You' kinda note to send along with the purchased item. I want to apologize to KiraAnnDesigns. She was supposed to be the featured seller this week on my blog. Unfortunately I was unable to post about her beautiful shop. This past week I've had a badly infected tooth. Part of it had recently fell off, and the left half side of my face is swollen.

I've been on antibiotics and oxycotton the past few days. I don't even know if I'm spelling words correctly, but I'm trying not to look too much into it as I still feel pretty dizzy.

Since I was unable to post KiraAnnDesigns shop this week I will start posting featured sellers again next week. My apologies KiraAnnDesigns.

Hello everyone! Can you believe how fast this New Year is going? WOW!! I hope you've noticed, I've got a new counter up, FINALLY! I recently found one I liked. Lol, it looks like an odometer. :D

This is luvmymonkeys last day, and her link will remain on the side of my blog for the next week only. I would like to keep links on the side, but it would make my link list WAY too long. Anyways, check out these cool items in luvmymonkeys shop!

I found this lip balm in her shop. It's an all natural chocolate mint lip balm made with beeswax, oils, and butters. This is perfect to pamper yourself even a little with these harsh winds and freezing temps. The first thing that popped into my mind when I saw this was "WOW! This is cheaper than burt's bees!" It comes in .5 tub for only $3.50!

I also found this coffee scrub for your skin. I found a recipe once in a magazine for it, and it really does make your skin look and feel amazing. The mess of making it on the other hand wasn't so great. Save yourself the hassle and the cleanup and get it from luvmymonkeys shop for only $3.50! That's WAY less than you would pay for an exfoiliating skin rub in any store!

This next VERY useful item is for anyone like me. Luvmymonkeys makes an ouchpouch. What's inside? Well, usually all the things you kids pretend boo boos fix. Bandaids. My kids play doctor, or fix thier boo boos and I don't have a bandaid for a paper cut or when I barely slice my finger with a knife cutting veggies. It also includes insect relief pads (great for the summer), and alcohol(not the drinking kind either, that's just wishful thinking! Just kidding...) But this is great. I've checked and she sells out of these pretty quickly. This will fit easily into your diaperbag or purse, probably even your car dash box. I have a very small dash box in my mini van, and not too much can fit in there. If you're like me, this is wonderful to have (my kids get hurt ALL the time). Only $5! What a steal!

And last but not least is this really cool laundry soap. I think she sells more of this than her pot holders! This is an all natural detergent that is very good for sensitive skin. Her daughter has psoriasis, so her skin can't handle all the extra gunk they put in detergent. You get thirty loads of laundry for $5 bucks. 30 loads for $5!!! No wonder this sells so fast! Where else could you get all natural detergent for $5 and get 30 loads out of it?

After spending a few days in bed I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. I never realized how much I would miss being online and talking to all my e-friends. :) I was browsing through luvmymonkeys shop and found these really cute items! Take a look for yourself.

I also found this lovely lot of undrilled beads. I'm seriously considering making jewelry, after I learn how. I was thinking that these stones would look great wire wrapped. Just think how many different things you could do with them! You could make earrings, necklaces, bracelets, even rings! I thought $4.00 was more than a reasonable asking price for these stones.

I found some lovely charms today while I was browsing MHaynes shop. So many charms, so little time! I found these beautiful Oyster charms today..

These lovely oyster charms are only $2.50! They are made from pewter and are 2 centimeters. I'm not quite sure why, but they made me think of Spongebob.

I also fell in love with these lovely deep blue drop shells. I think that a lovely pair of earrings and a matching bracelet could easily be made from these lovely drop shells. You can make all 20 of these drop shells yours for the modest price of $1.50!

Gingerbread house and decorating day

I'm going to attempt to make a gingerbread house today. The kids will probably eat more of the candy they put on, but it will be fun. I think the reason I never made one before was cause it would mostly just be for me, and I would have to have to have it perfect.

Now that the kids are old enough to actually know what's going on I think it will be fun. (I say that now, remind me I said it when I'm done) It may not be a perfect gingerbread house, or look the best to the untrained eye, but to me it will be.

This may not make sense to alot of people who are not parents, but to alot of parents it will. Something doesn't have to be perfect to be perfect. I know this gingerbread house, and our overly decorated tree will be perfect. I'll post pics before the kids tear into it and devour it. Talk to y'all later :)

Who's Who- the mind and artist behind Serenasgifts

Hi!
My name is Serena and I have a store in Indianapolis that is truly my heart and joy. I opened the store about three years ago and it has changed and molded into what it is today. It is a small shop that offers other artists in the community an opportunity to sell their items. I charge 20 a month for them to put items in my store, I charge no percentage or any other fees and 100% of the money goes back to the artists and their families here locally.

Not only does this help select families but it helps our little community overall by keeping our money local. I chose to do this even though I make nothing from it in order to be a positive role model to my three female children and to other women in our area. I truly love what I do.

I design and create jewelry, all of it is one of a kind and no piece is ever duplicated. All of my designs have meanings behind them and are made so that the women who wear them can not only feel pretty but can be empowered. Some are reminders of things we need to think about, for instance Wind's Wings is a reminder that being free and responsibility come hand in hand and some women forget they can still feel free while being responsible for their families. So wearing a piece like that you can have a physical token to help you remember that freedom is not something you grow out of but something to treasure and enjoy every day regardless of age or consequence.

Personally I am a wife and mother of three girls who are 17, 13 and 13. My husband was a career Military Police Officer for the Army until he got hurt. He has served overseas and is truly my hero in every aspect. We have a dog named Orion who is incredibly spoiled and very much part of our little family.

Well... now I have the ick.
Rich is the one who made me sick.
My nose is all stuffy,
my eyes are all puffy,
and I feel like I'm gonna vomit.

I can't even get out of bed.
I won't even try to lift up my head!
I just want to sleep,
but it won't be too deep,
I feel like I swollowed some commet.

Hubby is really great.
He's cleaned every dirty plate!
He kept the kids fed,
He even put them to bed!
I didn't have to lift one finger!

Although the situation is dire,
He even got wood for the fire!
He took out the trash,
What a dash!
He took so the smell wouldn't linger.

Although I'm at the end of my tale,
I'm still drinking ginger ale.
Although I'm feeling better,
Outside just gets wetter.
And I think I'll stay sick a bit longer....

Within the past month I've had I don't know how many appointments. Hubby is sick again :( Some kinda stomache virus. Went to the Dr. today and they told him he can't go to work until Saturday. I took the two younger girls to the Dr. yesterday to get the flu shot and immunizations. Yikes! Rebekkah only got the flu shot and 2 viles of blood drawn. She didn't cry or even wimper! Kara got 4 shots in her left leg, 3 in the right, and they had to poke her twice (once in each arm) to draw blood. The second time they got a vein but she moved and the needle came out. So they had to prick her cute little toe and get blood that way to see if she was still anemic and for lead. Boy did she scream, the poor little thing. And tis the time for coupon books to be sold. Poor Alyssa, she won't even reach the 5 needed to get a little t-shirt. And she's only 1 away!!! I checked to see how her class was doing on selling them and it's pitiful. They've barely filled the bottom of their little thermometer thingy. I can't wait to get mine though! They've got alot of really good ones this year! I know for sure we'll be using the Snappy Tomato one this year! That's one of the new ones they put in. Got some new pics of the new patitudes I've done :)

Woohoo! The new website is up!

My hubby just fixed a few more things today, so it's ready to use. It'll be awile till he can put some REALLY cool stuff up, but hey, he works 40+ hours a week. I think he did AWESOME! He built it from scratch, and put my side up before his. :) He is sooooo sweet! He's gonna use his side to advertise for building websites. He loves computers, and can do all sorts of stuff. Lord knows how many programming and IT books we have. He's even going to ITT Tech just so he can have the degree to back him up. The programming class he took there was a joke, he was pretty much teaching the teacher. Lol, the teacher tried to say that programming in DOS and Visual Basic isn't real programming. Lol, my hubby tried to teach me that, it was a nightmare! Sorry for getting all technical. Anyways, if anyone needs a programmer/designer, I know someone. *wink* Anyways, check out the link to the left for Creative Accents. Yea! My first web page!!

Ok, I know I haven't written to keep all my wonderful readers up to date on my very exciting life. J/k. Been a little busy. Between taking my oldest to school, making myself go to school and hubby to work, we've also been putting up our own website. My hubby designed it himself, and was even sweet enough to make me my own little portion of it. :) He's so sweet! But he's been working on it non stop for weeks now, hence why I haven't been writing, but I'll soon have a new website to share! It went live as of today, but there are still a few bugs that need worked out. I'll post the link as soon as it's ready!

Getting better

Thank goodness for antibiotics! After about a week of suffering from congestion, broncitis, and nausea I'm starting to feel better! Just in time to make up a quiz and midterm from last week, take an exam in chemistry lecture and start a new chapter on nuclear chemistry, take a quiz in chemistry lab, and write a speech. Talk about a super busy week! My oldest daughter also goes to her 2nd staggered day of Kindergarten. She loves it, and was quite angry with me last week when I picked her up 'cause she had to go home. She wanted to stay there! I guess it's a good thing she likes school, and she likes that she gets to go to school like mommy and daddy. :) Only a few more weeks left in this quarter, then I'm taking fall quarter off. I need this time to find a new school, my tuition is just getting to be WAY to expensive. I wrote about it in one of my earlier posts. Anyways, had to write something to let my readers know I'm still around and surviving the crud. :) I also put up a new link for providence. I love it there! You can listen to the podcasts once you get to the website, it's so awesome, and there's a GREAT environment there with something for everyone. On their last MANday night (a group of men getting together on mondays) they had baby back ribs. They're constantly doing cool stuff like that, and giving you ways to 'connect' with others. I can do sport team colors, or just your favorite colors! My kids love these 'cause they're just the right size( I like em cause they're durable). I also make a mini version for potpourri, which is great for in the bathroom. Halloween stuff

Ok. I went to the store to get my oldest MORE school supplies. Yes, that's right, I said MORE. The reason for this is that my oldest and middle daughters decided to tear the boxes of the crayons, pencils, and kleenex to decorate my living room. They also proceeded to 'decorate' my walls, and to pour glue ALL over the floor. I went into my bedroom for not even 5 minutes to get ready for school, and they had done all that. To those who still ask me why I smoke cigarettes, this is why:

Anyways, I couldn't believe it when I walked into the store and was bombarded by halloween stuff. Are you kidding me? We just got the kids into school! Give us parents a chance to breathe. It seems like they keep putting this stuff up earlier and earlier every year. Soon it will be halloween, then time will fly, we'll turn around and it'll be Thanksgiving. Then before you know it, Christmas. Yep, Christmas is in 18 weeks and 2 days. Alot of you probably hate me for saying that, but it's true! Soon the madness will begin.

I recently have read Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. Anyone else read this extremely hard to follow book? We had to read it for our English Comp. w/Research class last quarter. If not for a handout our instructor had given, I doubt I would have even understood this Sci-Fi book. It was written back in the 1950's I believe, but you can kinda see how things are falling into place. Don't believe me? In this book he talks about how firemen are no longer our protectors from fire, but instead start fires. If a book, any book, is found in your house you are immediately turned in and your house burnt to the ground. I won't give too much away, just in case I have arroused your interest. Anyhow, what I was saying was, in this book they were talking about these giant walls that were like television screens. The book referred to them as 'The family'. Guess what panasonic has invented? A television so big that it actually takes up an entire wall! Here's the link if you don't believe me. Pretty creepy huh? To those of you who have read this book, another little tidbit I found out. I used to live in Ohio, so I went to visit my family a few months ago. The libraries in Ohio are no longer being funded by the government. Many of them have to close thanks to the wonderful governor. Ted Strickland I believe. I don't know about you, maybe I'm just reading too much into it, but this is all a little close for comfort. What I want to know is how some guy back in the 1950's knew that someday we would have these giant 'walls' that were televisions. Now that's creepy.

Hello fellow readers and followers,

I have been kept quite busy this past week with, well, everything. Life just seemed to happen. I will spare you the details. :) The major things that did happen was I went to register for fall quarter and they wanted like 1500 bucks! I was like WHAT?! Where am I supposed to pull 1500 bucks from? So anyways, I'm gonna be switching schools. I think it's actually for the better though cause then I can get stuff in order, maybe do some cleaning before christmas. Notice I said MAYBE. And what else... oh, I took my oldest daughter to meet her kindergarten teacher yesterday. It's a new school, and it looks awesome. Her teacher was really nice, and my daughter really seemed to like her. I also discovered a new site called High Hits. I'm not sure if this site really works yet. I guess I will see. If it does I will post a link for it, but I want to make sure it makes a difference for referrals. If anyone has had an experience with high hits, good or bad, please put it on my comments for my blog. K, I forgot to mention this site called Cafemom. It's just for moms(sorry dads). They have TONS of groups on there for every age, intrest, etc. There is especially one I like. The group is called Deals & Steals. I get lots of free stuff from there all the time! I actually just got free food from Schwans delivery service. They are gonna bring my free food right to my door! How cool is that? If you're a mom, you need to check it out. Also, most people don't know this, but walmart also has TONS of free samples. If you go to walmart.com, put samples in their search box for the site. A link for free samples will pop up, click on it. All their free samples will pop right up. I've gotten deodorant, gum, asprin, etc. Right now they have samples for nicorette, playtex, carefree, bodycology, viva napkins, etc. And if you don't want all that spam email use mailinator.com. It's a free email address you don't have to register for or anything. You just make up a name and put it in front of @mailinator.com(i.e. rjblueyes@mailinator.com) They also have other domain names you can use such as mailin8r.com, and my personal favorite- thisisnotmyrealemail.com. This saves me alot of time deleting spam from my personal email. One more thing... I have cashed out for yet another mypoints giftcard for Cracker Barrel. Ymmmmmmm....

Lol, had to start off with the last comment I got on my font. Yeah, I know it's too big and oversized. But I like it that way so I don't have to squint to see my own writing. Thanks for the opinion though. Now for an update on my chemistry lab quiz. I totally bombed it. Everyone in lab thought it was going to be a quiz over the worksheets and procedures the professor had handed out, but it wasn't. He had made it seem that it was going to be over the worksheets when in fact it was like a quiz we would've had in lecture. That really stunk.... Anyways, I'm off this week from school, YEA! Catching up on school work though, the teachers assigned extra homework, ugh... hate when they do that! But in good news my 2 year old is getting somewhat potty trained. Today she decided to play in the toilet water with help from my 1 year old daughter no less(I know, it's pretty gross!), but at least the toilet was clean! This happened after all three daughters decided to enjoy a whole box of rice crispies for a mid morning snack. It was pretty fun sweeping it up 'cause you could still hear the rice crispies go "snap", "crackle", and "pop". The livingroom rug, couch, and chair were covered with them. But in a weird way they felt good on my feet. Like a mini foot massage. I think they actually made my feet softer, lol. Before I forget, thank you everyone for posting comments and reading my blog. Ok, I know it was my bright idea to take 4 classes this quarter, so I'm being punished. I am so totally swamped! I've got a midterm on Wednesday in Effective speaking, a chemistry lab test on tuesday--which I hope I don't blow myself up, and a quiz on Thursday in Medical law and Ethics. I feel like my head is gonna explode! Anyone have some good study tips?

Hits4Pay is an GPT site. You have your own inbox on thier site, so no SPAM! They pay you with paypal. You can cash out at $25.

DealsnCash is a site made by the same people from Hits4Pay. The only difference between the two is you can cash out at $30 instead of $25.

There is no cash out minimum for this site and they also pay through paypal.

I also LOVE bzzagent, mypoints, mylot, freeride, and moola.

Bzzagent is a site that you don't earn money, but they send you free products to try and use just for your opinion in return. Thus far I've gotten 5gum, Listerine Whitening Strips, Smuckers Uncrustables, and Clearasil makeup remover cloths to name a few. They also give you samples and REALLY good coupons to share with your family and friends. You can also earn mypoints points on this site.

Mypoints is a site you can trade points for money. Simply print coupons, click on emails they send, etc.

Mylot is a blogging/forum site. They pay through paypal.

Moola is a free gaming site. So if you're looking for a way to kill time at work(lol, jk) this is the site for you!

Sorry everybody! It's definately been awile. Well, I've moved again. This time to beautiful Knoxville Tennessee. GO VOLS!!!! It's definately warmer than Ohio. I definately like it though. God blessed us with another beautiful daughter whom we named Kara Nicole. She turned one on the 7th of May. Alyssa is going to turn 5! We had a pool party for her early. I think I got a head cold from swimming. I just can't believe she's going to go to kindergarten in the fall. Oi! I thought I cried on her first day of Pre K. Ha! I'm going to be at the door with my face pressed to the window when I take her to Kindergarten. I bet the teacher will have me labled as one of the "crazy" parents that keep their kids sheltered. It's so funny how parents can't wait till school starts again and then bawl like babies when they finally do go. Heck, I start crying just getting school supplies! She gets all excited about the new clothes, pencils, pens, crayons, and bookbag while I stand in the middle of the store crying. It dosen't take much to please a kindergartener, though they are quite picky at times.

(For Those of you not in the know, Eromanga is a smalltown, west of Quilpie in the far south west of Queensland Australia ) Dear Mum & Dad, I am well. Hope youse are too.. Tell me big brothers Doug and Phil that the Army is better than workin' on the farm - tell them to get in bloody quick smart before the jobs are all gone! I wuz a bit slow in settling down at first, because ya don't hafta get outta bed until 6am. But I like sleeping in now, cuz all ya gotta do before brekky is make ya bed and shine ya boots and clean ya uniform. No bloody cows to milk, no calves to feed, no feed to stack - nothin'!! Ya haz gotta shower though, but its not so bad, coz there's lotsa hot water and even a light to see what ya doing!At brekky ya get cereal, fruit and eggs but there's no kangaroo steaks or possum stew like wot Mum makes. You don't get fed again until noon and by that time all the city boys are buggered because we've been on a 'route march' - geez its only just like walking to the windmill in the back paddock!!This one will kill me brothers Doug and Phil with laughter. I keep getting medals for shootin' - dunno why. The bullseye is as big as a bloody possum's bum and it don't move and it's not firing back at ya like the Johnsons did when our big scrubber bull got into their prize cows before the Ekka last year! All ya gotta do is make yourself comfortable and hit the target - it's a piece of piss!! You don't even load your own cartridges, they comes in little boxes, and ya don't have to steady yourself against the rollbar of the roo shooting truck when you reload!Sometimes ya gotta wrestle with the city boys and I gotta be real careful coz they break easy - it's not like fighting with Doug and Phil and Jack and Boori and Steve and Muzza all at once like we do at home after the muster. Turns out I'm not a bad boxer either and it looks like I'm the best the platoon's got, and I've only been beaten by this one bloke from the Engineers - he's 6 foot 5 and 15 stone and three pick handles across the shoulders and as ya know I'm only 5 foot 7 and eight stone wringin' wet, but I fought him till the other blokes carried me off to the boozer.
